Payment Options and Terms for 'Bill ya Hosi'
1. Payment Plans:
Customers of Bill ya Hosi can choose from the following payment plans:
- Weekly Plan: Ksh 50 per week
- Monthly Plan: Ksh 200 per month
- Annual Plan: Ksh 2,000 per year
2. Payment Rules and Regulations:
Weekly Payments (Ksh 50)
- Payment Deadline: Customers have 7 days to make the weekly payment of Ksh 50.
- Grace Period: If the payment is not made within the 7-day period, a 3-day grace period is provided.
- Penalty for Late Payment: If the payment is not completed by the end of the 3-day grace period, a 50% penalty (Ksh 25) will be applied on the 4th day.
- Suspension of Account: Failure to make the payment, including the penalty, by the 7th day after the grace period will result in account suspension.
- Reactivation: Once suspended, the account will remain inactive for 30 days, after which it will be reset and the customer will need to start a new cycle of payments.
Monthly Payments (Ksh 200)
- Payment Deadline: Monthly payments are due within 30 days from the date of the last payment.
- Grace Period: If the payment is not made within the 30-day window, the customer is allowed a 1-week grace period to make the payment without any penalties.
- Penalty for Late Payment: If payment is not made within the grace period, a 50% penalty (Ksh 100) will be imposed.
- Suspension of Account: If the payment, including penalties, is not made within 3 weeks after the grace period, the account will be suspended.
- Reactivation: Accounts suspended due to non-payment will remain inactive for 30 days, after which the account will reset and the customer will need to start a new cycle of payments.
Annual Payments (Ksh 2,000)
- Payment Deadline: Customers selecting the annual payment option must make the payment within 2 weeks of the start of the payment cycle.
- Penalty for Late Payment: If the payment is not made within the 2-week period, a 25% penalty (Ksh 500) will be applied.
- Suspension of Account: If payment is not made within 1 month, the customer's account will be suspended.
- Reactivation: Once suspended, the account will remain inactive for 30 days, after which it will reset and the customer will need to start a new cycle of payments.
4. Additional Provisions:
- The penalties and suspension rules are designed to encourage timely payments and prevent prolonged account inactivity.
- Once an account is suspended, all services will be unavailable until the 30-day period elapses, at which point the customer will have to re-enroll and begin making payments under the chosen plan.
